Pay Online
If paying your bill Online just click the green "Pay Your Bill Now" button. Please note that the account number for your water is required then just follow the prompts.
ACH is now available!!
The Town of Russell is pleased to announce that Automatic Clearing House (ACH) payments are now available for water bills. This convenient option allows your your monthly payment to be automatically drafted from your bank account.
To enroll, please complete the ACH Authorization form permitting Russell Water & Sewer Department to process automatic drafts. Forms are availabel at te Town Office, or you may download and print the form from the Town's Website. Completed forms can be returned to the office in person.
Automatic payments will begin for those who choose to do so on the January 10th billing cycle, and there is no fee for this service. This is a convenient and cost-free way to ensure your payemnts are made on time each month.
We encourge all customers to take advantage of this easy and secure payment option.
Payment By Mail
If paying by check or money order through the mail, please send all payments with your payment coupon. To avoid late fees, please mail your payment at least five to seven business days before the due date specified on your bill.
Payment Drop-off Location
You may pay your bill in person at our office address. We accept cash, check, or money orders. We are in the office Tuesday - Thursday from 8AM to 10AM and Saturday by appointment ONLY. Check the town calendar for office closures. There is a secure payment drop-box located on the front of the Fire Department building at 104 SE Elm St for after-hours payment.
Please, DO NOT put cash in the drop-box.
Payment Through Financial Institution Online Bill Pay
Many financial institutions such as major banks offer their customers the ability to pay their bills via an online bill payment service (through your bank's website). Normally, these services debit the customer's checking or savings account to pay the bill. Depending on the financial institution, they may or may not charge a fee for the service. Payments may take up to seven business days to post to the customer's account. Please consult with your bank for more information.
